With explosive growth in video,IP,network services,people's demand for transferrin g rates and bandwidth is increasing.A substantial increase in transport/access equipment can greatly satisfy current needs,which leads optical network become increasingly complex.Optical network management also faces enormous challenges.Current optical network of optical transceiver can only be achieved through point-to-point network management features.In current,most vendors are point to point(P2P)network management,lack of point to multipoint(P2MP)network management in optical network which is consisted by 2-layer(Physical layer and Data link layer)optical transmission device.Aiming at star topology network,it proposes P2 MP network management scheme to improve P2 MP network management.The local optical transmission device and many remote devices are connected directly through the optical fiber.Utilizing the GCC0(Universal Communication channel)as the transmission network management information channel and network management information and the business signal are transmitted together and the P2 MP network management is realized through software.The thesis aims at researching the network management of star network,designing and implementing P2 MP network management mode in which the local devices can control and manage management network uniformly.The transmission information is added/dropped to GCC0 overhead by FPGA.Develop of P2 MP network management software based on Vx Works platform.The main work and innovation of the thesis mainly include:1.It studied optical network overhead management technology and demand of multi-service optical transmission.It analysis and contrast subcarrier modulation,OSC,digital warpper technology and establishs transmission scheme that usilizing GCC0 overhead in digital wrapper technology as transmission channel2.It analyzed transmission scheme and OTN framer to determine the software development architecture.It developed OTN framer chips' software according to the architecture in local device and implement mapping the transmitted customer signal to OTU1 e,configuring FEC mode and so on.3.It studied kinds of P2 MP network management schemes.It proposed a simple command protocol based on link layer and network layer which can implementP2MP network management.The implementation of software function includes the design of request/answer frame,software interrupt processing,initialization task,polling task,buffer task,etc.4.It built P2 MP star network test environment and completed test of 24 hours transmission,P2 MP network monitor and management.The test result shows: the transmission system can be stable,error-free transmission of the code.Local devices can directly monitor and manage multiple remote devices.Function can meet the design needs and achieve the desired design goals.
