With the rapid development of science and technology,the future will be more unmanned and highly informatized in the fields of military weapons and civilian agriculture.The status of drones in these fields will also be gradually improved.The ground control station is the core part of the drone system,which provides real-time monitoring and protection for the safe flight of the drone.This thesis researches on the design and implement of UAV GCS,and carries out the GCS software programming and implementation.The software provides flight monitoring,data storage,map-based navigation,route planning,task playback,and telemetric control of UAV,and has the ability to interact with UAV in real-time.Based on the understanding of UAV systems at home and abroad,the ground station system software designed in this paper not only possesses the functions in UAV systems,but also carries out its innovation and improvement.For example,it realise elevation information display of map navigation,production methods of navigation electronic maps,and track drawing of two special cases are realized.These all provide reliable practical experience for the future expansion of UAV systems.The paper first describes the development status of UAV ground stations,and summarizes the similarities and differences of ground station software.Then start with its own R&D experience,it talks about several technologies used in the development process: The ground station software is designed based on the MFC dialog program design,multi-threaded technology has an important application;CSuperSerialPort class and Windows messaging mechanism,realization of high-precision timing all provides an important guarantee for the real-time monitoring of the drone;the ADO database access technology provides the basis for storing and reading wireless data(such as waypoints and route information)and task playback functions.Then it describes in detail the overall structure of the software system and the module composition.It focuses on the functional design of the ground station software.From six aspects,it describes the composition of the software interface and the functions and implementation of each part in detail from six aspects.The fourth chapter,based on the mastery of track and waypoint storage and management,it focuses on the principle of route planning under two special conditions,and proposes the navigation electronic map production methodand elevation information display of the waypoints.The fifth chapter,combined with the CSuperSerialPort class serial communication and the implementation of high-precision timers,the introduction of the composition of wireless communication links,developed a wireless communication protocol that belongs to the ground station software,and on this basis,realized the UAV Real-time and efficient monitoring.At the end of the thesis,after several simulations actual flight tests in the laboratory with recording of experimental data,the results show that the function of UAV ground station control system software function is relatively complete.The system runs well and has high stability and real-time communication.Such significant features have verified that the development of the ground station software has met the technical requirements.
