To meet the intense requirement of personal communication and high speed data service,the research of the 4G mobile telecom system has become the focus in the international mobile telecom field.The telecom industry has become the pillar,leading and strategic industry in the national economy foundation.Chinese government has always put a lot of effort on the development in this field.Investment in the telecommunication equipment keeps increasing which will undoubtedly bring huge demand for high performance telecom equipment industry.At the same time,the fault detect function has got more and more attentions!Based on the design requirements for radio frequency transmitter subsystem in TD-LTE base station system,this paper discusses the 4G base station RRU VSWR measurement optimization and relatedresearch.Improve the accuracy of voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR)through error elimination algorithm.The main contents of this paper include:1.Brief introduction of the development status of cellular mobile telecom system and the characteristics of RRU.2.The framework and design of RF remote unit(RRU).3.Concept of the single port network VSWRmeasurement based on microwave network theory.4.The method of improving the VSWR measurement accuracy according to the design requirements and the actual evaluation.5.Comparison of RRU VSWR actual measurement result.
