Research Of Measuring Moisture In Coal Based On Standing-wave Ratio

The moisture content of coal is an important indicator of coal. It plays an important role in production, trade, processing and usage of coal, basic theoretical research and so on. Therefore, an accurate, rapid and simple measuring method for measuring the water in coal is desiderated. This paper briefly summarized the research state of coal moisture measuring techniques at home and abroad. Measuring theory and method of coal moisture based on the standing-wave ratio were researched. The measuring probe was designed according to the measuring demands of coal moisture and the measuring system was developed. The experiments show that the measuring method is feasible, and the measuring signal reflects the change of water content in coal sensitively.
