Towards Quick Decoration Design Of Homes

The process of home decoration design is a process of continuous communication between designers and users.In this process,the designer not only needs to fully understand the user's needs,but more importantly,can give a preliminary design plan according to the user's demand,so as to discuss with the user.At present,domestic designers use professional software,such as CAD,3DMAX and Photoshop,to create a home improvement design,even if it is a time-consuming process for a skilled designer.Non-professionals don't have the resources.In order to meet the needs of the vast numbers of users,fast,convenient and powerful home design software came into being.Sweet Home 3D is currently a powerful home design software,but there are few home improvement materials,according to Home decoration style classification,there is no decoration,quotation,display and other shortcomings.Therefore,In order for the designer to quickly fulfill a decoration design,besides mastering the design software,it is very necessary to classify the decoration styles,accumulate decoration stuff models,and do some further development to the design software.For the aim of quick decoration design of homes,this dissertation is around the application and development of Sweet Home 3D,a free software for home decoration design.The main work is as follows:(1)Through studying the history and current situation of domestic home decoration,the characteristics of some common styles are made clear,including the contemporary and contracted style,the Chinese classical style,the European style and the pastoral style.(2)For the sake that Sweet Home 3D has insufficient furniture models,by using 3DMAX,some furniture package combination are established and added to the model library of corresponding styles.These models can be inserted into a design plan according to their styles.(3)With Java programming language,Some plug-ins and their corresponding sub-menus and dialogs are developed for Sweet Home 3D,including the plug-in for home size and type selection,the plug-in for style based furniture insertion,and the plug-in for prices billing.Based on the above work,a really three-dimensional case design is presented in the dissertation.The user can view the designed scene from any view point,and after designating the roaming path,a roaming video can be exported from the system.
