With the development of modern computer technology,and the advent of the era of Big Data,the data which need to be stored and processed for an application system becomes more and more varied.According the size,the data can be divided into two types: Small Data and Big Data,whose corresponding databases are Relational Database and Big Data Platform Based Database.Now more and more applications need to connect to those two kinds of databases at the same time.In the previous database application development,applications should control the database connections by theirselves.The features and SQL syntax rules are different between database productions,as a result,the developers should spend more time on maintaining two or more independent data interfaces,which makes it easy to make mistakes.This paper designed and implemented a Unified SQL Query System for Big Data,which can consider multiple isomerous databases as a whole,and provide a unified interface to outside.Unified SQL Query System for Big Data hides the details of the underlying databases,and the developers can do many operations for databases which only need to know how to invoke the interfaces.
