With the rapid development of computer science,the use of geographic information systems is becoming more and more widespread,and get a great development in civilian areas.Varieties of electronic maps have brought great convenience to our lives.Google Maps is one of the best.In addition,the times of big data is coming.It is a great challenge for many traditional technologies.However,distributed storage and distributed computing technology has become a new way to solve the problem.The main contains of this paper is to combine the electronic map system which requires huge amounts of date with distribute storage.In this paper,we use non-relational database which called Hbase.It can store all data in this system.Besides,we designed and implement a electronic map system based on distribute storage.Through the study of data structures of geographic information and distributed storage,we carried out a detailed design for each modules of the system.It contains automatically get data,cache module in map display and design of storage structure.These designs make the system become more convenient and better performance.On the other hand,We storage the geographic information data at local disks,and then,we implement the display of electronic map and lots of service based on electronic map.At last,we can run the system on LAN.Finally,we will show the result of service in the system and the testing of system performance,which proved the feasibility of the system functions and performance reach the design requirements.
