As a modern service industry,the media industry has a late start in China,and its speed of development lags behind that of developed countries.In today's “Internet +” era,the traditional for newspapers,television,radio and other media transmission methods cannot meet people's growing cultural needs,more and more media companies realize the importance of combining the Internet and traditional media,media companies make strategic transformation and upgrading is imminent.As for how to quickly into the new media domain,many media companies choose this way,the m&a Internet m&a has become the highlight media mergers and acquisitions in “as well as a scenery line”.In this background,this article selects 2015 annual domestic media industry one of the major m&a event: wide power media m&a million families thought,at the same time,nine refers to the world,the long run,and case analysis of gold pole four Internet companies,the mergers and acquisitions motivation and m&a performance and m&a risk are analyzed,trying to find out the success of the wide power media mergers and acquisitions.This paper is divided into five parts,the introduction of the first chapter,which mainly introduces the research background,research significance and literature related to merger motivation,m&a performance and merger risk.The second chapter introduces the theory of merger and acquisition and the evaluation method of m&a performance.The third chapter is the introduction of the Internet enterprises in the merger and acquisition of Dianguang media,and describes the process and results of the acquisition of four Internet companies by the Dianguangmedia.The fourth chapter for wide power media Internet enterprise merger and acquisition of case analysis,mainly from the mergers and acquisitions motivation and m&a performance and m&a risk this wide power media mergers and acquisitions in the aspect of the Internet enterprise this activity are analyzed.The fifth chapter is the case revelation of the acquisition of Internet enterprises by the Dianguang media,and through the analysis of the merger and acquisition activities of the Dianguang media,the enlightenment is obtained.The sixth chapter is the conclusion of the study,and the conclusion of the case and the deficiency and prospect are explained.Through case analysis,this paper argues that the wide power media merger million families think strange,nine refers to embellish and four gold pole of the world,for a long time the Internet company is to improve the operating conditions,to set up the new media group ofsmart,brought value for the enterprise,financial and non-financial performance has improved.Visible,timely to carry out mergers and acquisitions can bring development to the enterprise,enterprise should according to their own strategic transformation needs to seize development opportunities,in addition,the m&a risk throughout the course of the m&a activities of enterprises should actively prepare before mergers and acquisitions,mergers and acquisition of risk prevention work.
