Distributed MIMO radar is a recognized stealth target nemesis because of its unique array mode,which has both space diversity gain and waveform diversity gain.The distributed MIMO radar is applied to the high speed moving platform,and the distributed cooperative detection technology can further improve the detection performance of stealthy targets based on the signal non coherent fusion processing.For the distributed MIMO radar signal processing algorithm under the high speed moving platform,this paper mainly studies the following three aspects:(1)Analysis of the waveform characteristics of distributed MIMO radarThis paper first describes the basic principles and characteristics of distributed MIMO radar.Three orthogonal waveforms for distributed MIMO radars are introduced,including stepped frequency divisional chirp signals,quadrature phase encoded signals and mixed signals.Among them,mixed signals include quadrature phase encoding-LFM mixed signals and stepped frequency division LFM-phase encoded mixed signal.Based on the cross ambiguity function,the characteristics of the three types of orthogonal waveforms are analyzed.Finally,the low interception performance of the three types of signals was compared by interception factor.(2)Distributed MIMO Radar Target DetectionThis paper first analyzes the correlation of scattering coefficients between different channels of the distributed MIMO radar.For the non-coherent scenes of scattering coefficients,two non-coherent fusion detectors based on generalized likelihood ratio(GLRT)algorithm are introduced: a centralized detector and a dual-threshold detector.And the detection probability and false alarm probability expression of two kinds of detectors are derived.Next,the effect of distributed radar spatial diversity gain on detection performance is discussed.Finally,the performance of the two detectors for different target Radar Cross Section(RCS)fluctuation model based on simulations is compared.(3)Multi target pairing of distributed MIMO radarAiming at the multi-target pairing problem of distributed MIMO radar under large inertial navigation error,this paper proposes a new multi-target pairing algorithm which utilizes the target delay information and combined with the distributed MIMO radar multi-channels information redundancy characteristics.The expression of determining the correctness of the target pairing is deduced,and the target pairing procedure is also given.Except that,the relationship between the algorithm computation amount and the number of radar stations and the number of targets is analyzed.Finally,Monte-Carlo simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of this algorithm.
