As the key technology of 5G communication,mmWave communication has drawn wide attention.Compared with the traditional communication,mmWave frequency band has disadvantages in coverage and robustness due to its short wavelength.Therefore,the combination of mmWave technology and traditional LTE technology becomes the hot research of the next generation of communication.As the important part of mobile user mobility management,handover has an important effect on user Experience in the hybrid networking.Therefore,how to improve the efficiency of mobile user community handover is very important.In thesis,we discuss the relevant steps of the handover in mmW-uW frequency network to effectively improve the handover efficiency,in order to realize the development and standardization of 5G hybrid networking.In section 1,thesis divides the handover process into three key stages,namely,the measurement of the handover parameters,the determination of the handover,and the execution of the handover.After that,thesis introduces the mmW-uW frequency network system.In order to improve the coverage and robustness of mmWave communication,the combination of millimeter wave technology and traditional LTE technology is adopted.In section 2,the first step of handover in mmW-uW frequency network is studied.Because the millimeter wave beam is relatively narrow,it is time-consuming to scan more directions for beam alignment during parameter measurement.In mmW-uW frequency network,the locations of the base stations and users are obtained by LTE channel,narrowing the scope of scanning.This can reduce the scanning time and improve accuracy,so as to optimize measurement of the handover process.The section 3 of thesis aims at the determination of the handover which is the second stage of the handover.After getting handover parameters,many different filters are adopted to optimize the parameters.Thesis proposes the fast switching algorithm,which is better than the traditional hard switching scheme.In order to reduce the effect of ping-pong,thesis proposes an improved dynamic trigger time,which can dynamically trigger handover.In addition,in order to conduct the handover to more suitable cell,after getting location information by low-frequency LTE link,the moving direction of the mobile user is anticipated in the hybrid network.By the anticipating of the moving direction,the decision of handover becomes more accurate.The dynamic channel model is adopted in network simulator ns-3,and a simulation analysis is carried out on the scheme of the mmW-uW frequency network.Through simulation analysis,the proposed algorithm is proved to be more excel ent.Finally,there is a summary of the thesis and outlook of mmW-uW frequency network.As the key technology of 5G communication,there are many urgent problems of the hybrid frequency network to be solved.The research and exploration of the development and standardization in mmW-uW frequency network has important value.
