With the development of microwave and space exploration technologies,passive microwave remote sensing based on microwave radiometers should have higher frequencies and more refined detection channels.Therefore,the study of ultra-wideband,multi-channel,high-frequency resolution microwave radiometer technology will greatly improve the microwave remote sensing inversion algorithm accuracy,which is expected to promote and develop new microwave remote sensing mechanism for the development and application of China's satellite-borne microwave remote sensing instrument,which has great meaning of improving the detection level of radiometer.The CTS(Chirp Transform Spectrometer)system is a frequency measurement system based on the Chirp compression principle and mainly includes the band expansion,compression of the signal to be measured,and the frequency conversion from the analog channel of the signal to the time domain is directly completed,therefore,realizing the spectrum measurement of the signal has been done.This paper has reviewed the literature of the microwave radiometers and RF RFFE analog channels,briefly describes the development process of the radiometers and the development at the present stage,briefly introduces the working principle of traditional radiometers.Combined with the development trend of radiometers and application requirements,based on the CTS technology,has developed a low-power,multi-channel architecture radiometer.CTS system consists of RF front-end and IF digital processing part,RF front-end part contains the main components of the amplifier,mixer,which is used to expand and compress the pending signal to transform frequency domain to time domain.In this paper,the feasibility of CTS system has been verified through theoretical and emulational method,the parameters of the CTS system has ben analyzed and determined.According to actual needs,selected and designed the device such as amplifier and mixer,used combination of imitation software ADS and Cadence to verify the feasibility of the performance of the devices,tested the performance of the device and PCB circuit board,analyzed the test results,and proposed the direction of system improvement.
