The microwave signal source can generate sine wave whose frequency and power are adjustable,and it has different modes of modulation.It is s a very important instrument in the field of electronic measurement and microwave systems.With the growing maturity of virtual instrument technology,applying it to the signal source will greatly reduce the size of the device and increase its flexibility.And the adoption of PXIe System as the platform for the software control system can also make the functions of the device more abundant,and the human-machine interface could be more friendly.Meanwhile,the way of remote control through the network can transform a test system into a whole and be more automated.In addition,the automated design of the signal calibration function based on the remote control mode can greatly increase productivity and signal quality.Under this background,the software design of microwave signal source system is performed in this paper.This article mainly discribes the design and development process of the microwave signal source system software.First,the software design scheme is put forward according to the demand.Then the paper completes the design of the local control software,the local server module and the automatic calibration software.Finally,each item was tested and verified.The main contents are divided into 3 parts shown as follows.(1)The design of the local control software.Make use of the advantages of graphical programming in LabVIEW to complete the design of human-machine interface with good experience.The control of the function of the signal source is realized through a rich VI library.Using the network configuration command line tool(netsh)of Windows to implement the function of modifying network parameters.(2)The design of the local server module.The client/server mode is used to complete the design of remote control,including UDP server for instruction processing and TCP server for data file reception.Packages instructions into functions and presents them to users in the form of static link libraries,in order to reduce the difficulty of remote control.(3)The design of the automatic calibration software.Based on the characteristics that the signal source can be controlled remotely,the design of the auto-calibration module for the frequency and power of the output signal of the signal source is completed.Build a platform to calibrate,analyze data,and then compensate for the output signal.So far,the microwave signal source system software has completed the joint debugging on the hardware platform,and each function can work normally.
