The radiometric accuracy and stability are the bottleneck problem that restricts the effective application of satellite remote sensed data.In the post-launch calibration analysis of Medium Resolution Spectral Imager(MERSI)onboard FY-3,periodic oscillations are found.Under the circumstances that the prelaunch and onboard radiometric calibration measurements are insufficient. This paper used a vicarious calibration method base on radiometric transfer simulation to research visible-light band on-orbit polarization-sensitive properties,we mainly did the following works:1?Use high-quality top-of-the-atmosphere radiances simulated by radiometric transfer models to simulation the visible wave band reflectance of global deep ocean clear sky Targets.Subsequently,we do the uncertainty analysis to the simulation results which reference from observation data of Aqua MODIS(an advanced remote sensor lunched by NASA)by analysis the time and spatial characteristics of simulation results bias, and do the error sensitivity calculation test.Established the feasibility of the simulation program and the accuracy of the simulation results;2?Based on the high-quality top-of-the-atmosphere radiometric transfer simulation, studied the angle and polarization sensing properties of on-orbit remote sensors,in order to find their impact mechanism of on-orbit radiometric calibration, and established different on-orbit radiation scan angles and polarization sensitivity correction models to MODIS visible light bands. Then, the elaborated models and parameters are adjusted synergistically based on the large amount matched radiometric dataset using the optimization method. Finally we propose a polynomial ridge regression model, the derived polarization factors are consistent with the MODIS prelaunch polarization factors. And we use the entire simulation and modeling solutions in FY-3B MERSI's study of on-orbit polarization sensitivity characteristics, which conclude a correction models and polarization sensitivity ranges for each visible light band.Improves the accuracy of radiation observations, reveals the angle dependence and polarization dependence of radiation response of remote sensors, and provide reference for the development of remote sensors and application of remote sensing products;3?Based on the above research contents,a simulation and analysis system of satellite visible light band observation was designed and developed, including the following functions:finishing and monitoring the radiometric transfer simulation process, analyzing simulation data, establishing polarization-sensitive correction models, and displaying the analysis data and the model results. This kind of system provided the study of this paper with a complete support software for technical realization.
