In the warehousing and logistics industry,warehouse robots,as an emerging automated logistics-handling tool in warehouses,need to get real-time route instructions from the control center and report their real-time states to it.It is required to construct a communication system which should be real-time,cost-efficienct and adaptive for long-distance and large-scale interection.To solve this problem,we use 433MHz band communication technology,which has the advantage of cost efficiency and communication distance,to design a multi-band parallel communication scheme.The proposed sheme overcomes the problem of high communication delay in 433MHz band communication technology Finally,we design a multi-band parallel communication system for warehouse robots.The multi-band parallel communication system includes hardware circuit module,embedded software control program and multi-band parallel prediction algorithm.Specifically,the main contributions of this paper are summarized as follows.1.The overall scheme of multi-band parallel communication system is designed.First,the design requirement of the system is introduced.Then we illustrate the challeges in the design and the corresponding solutions.Finally,the overall scheme design of the system is given,and the multi-band parallel communication system is implemeted through the collaborative design of hardware modules,control programs and communication algorithms.2.We design the hardware circuit for multi-band parallel communication system,which includes hardware and PCB layout of central control motherboard,terminal motherboard and communication sub module.3.We design the embedded software for multi-band parallel communication system.The function of communication ad hoc network is realized through the development of control program on three kinds of controller modules.Based on the commonly used networking communication methods,such as CSMA/CD and FA,we further design a high real-time multi band parallel prediction algorithm.4.We have conducted a variety of testing experiments of multi-band parallel communication system.The testing experiments include system hardware testing and communication performance testing.The testing results illustrate that the system can meet the communication requirements of the large warehouse Also,these results verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
