Terahertz(THz)frequency band generally refers to the electromagnetic wave in the range of 0.1 THz-10 THz.With the use of the terahertz band for wireless transmission,the transmission rate can be greatly improved.As a window of information transmission,the terahertz antenna has received extensive attention from the researchers.Based on low temperature co-fired ceramic(LTCC)technology,waveguide slot structure and substrate integrated waveguide technology,140 GHz high gain antennas with different structure types are proposed in this paper.The main research contents and innovation points are as follows:First,a high gain patch antenna element loaded with a metal ring,a SIW power divider and a transmission from SIW to waveguide are designed.The 4×4 antenna array can achieve a high gain of 19.2 dBi at 140 GHz,with a-10 dB bandwidth of 8.7 GHz(136.9 GHz-145.6 GHz).The 8×8 antenna array can reach 24.49 dBi in simulation,and its-10 dB bandwidth is 10.1 GHz(136.6 GHz-146.7 GHz).Secondly,the dielectric resonant antenna of the waveguide slot coupling is designed,and the SIW feed network is also used to make up the array.A 18.3 dBi high gain of 4 ×4 dielectric resonator antenna array can be achieved at 150GHz,and the-10 dB bandwidth is 23 GHz(139.2 GHz-162.2 GHz).Finally,the pyramid horn antenna is designed by using the LTCC process.The 4×4 horn antenna array is designed by using the SIW power divider as the feed network.The antenna array can achieve a high gain of 18.6 dBi at 140 GHz,and the bandwidth of S11 that is below-10 dB is 5.2 GHz(141.4 GHz-146.6 GHz).
