As the main mode of information processing,forwarding and storage in space communication,satellite communication has its special function and position in the fields of communication,navigation,remote sensing,space research and interplanetary exploration.It is a major strategic issue urgently needed for research and development in our country engineering.Satellite network has advantages such as long distance communication,large channel bandwidth,wide coverage and flexible networking.It has become an indispensable part of constructing modern communication network.However,due to the high cost of satellite manufacturing,the limited orbital resources of satellites,the difficulty of maintenance on the satellite and the high transmission delay,the satellite nodes processing capability and network management capability in satellite networks are put forward very high requirements in practical applications.Therefore,this paper studies the Satellite Communication Formation network,and on this basis proposes a technology research program to solve the existing communication problems in the satellite network.Satellite communication Formation,refers to the geostationary orbit in the same orbital distribution of multiple different types of satellite set.The concept of Satellite Communication Formation was proposed to improve on-board processing capability and disaster backup capabilities with limited orbital resources,On this basis,this paper proposes a Software-Define Network satellite communications Formation networking scheme,the introduction of SDN centralized management mode,the data plane and control plane phase separation ideas,satellite communications port to achieve flexible networking.At the same time,this paper proposes a satellite network congestion control algorithm based on Satellite Communication Formation,and focuses on solving the problem that the network resources can not be fully utilized in the flexible network of Satellite Communication Formation so as to optimize the problem that the network throughput is limited by RTT estimation in satellite networks with different delays.The main work and innovations of this paper are as follows:Firstly,aiming at the problem that space-based backbone networks have limited resources and poor performance in the current integrated land-and-space network,the network structure of Satellite Communication Formation is designed to solve the problem.This paper establishes the basic structure of the Satellite Communication Formation in the world-wide integrated network,elaborates the basic functions and features of the satellite communication Formation,and completes the establishment of the basic networking structure of the Satellite Communication Formation.Secondly,based on the functions and features of the Satellite Communication Formation,aiming at the problems of the single satellite processing capacity in the satellite network is limited,the network flexibility is not enough and the compatibility is poor,the SDN-based Satellite Communication Formation networking mode is proposed.As a control layer in the world-wide integrated network,the Satellite Communication Formation provides unified control over the entire network and reduces the computational burden of satellite nodes in the access network.Thirdly,the high-performance transport protocol is an important part of the research on flexible network of Satellite Communication Formation and the basis of effective distribution and exchange of spatial information and service data.In view of the existing transmission protocol can not adapt to the new network scenarios,resulting in the waste of scarce bandwidth resources.In this paper,a Vegas_SCF algorithm suitable for Satellite Communication Formation is proposed to optimize the utilization of network resources and effectively improve the satellite communication port network network throughput of about 7%.
