Due to the rapid development of the Internet,the increase of in the size of the network leads to increasing the difficulty of deploying network devices and optimization.Software-defined network(SDN)technology came into being,on the basis of SDN,software-defined optical network(SDON)technology can effectively break the closedness of optical layer.Based on three characteristic features:the separation of control plane and data forwarding plane,centralized control of logic and unified standard interface,It can effectively solve the problem of efficiency of business adaptation,the problem of complexity of business requirements,the problem of heterogeneous network interconnection and security control and the problem of hardware model abstraction.SDON architecture mainly includes three planes:application plane,control plane,and data forwarding plane.The three planes communicate and work together through unified and standardized interface.They can provide network topology discovery,network resource management,service flow optimization,real-time performance monitoring and other rich and varied functional services for operators,equipment manufacturers and other research institute.In the traditional SDON control architecture,control message is transmitted through short distance routing of electrical layer and long distance transmission of optical layer.Due to the bottleneck of packet switching and the several optoelectronic and electro-optic conversion processes,a large number of optoelectronic conversion devices increase the control overhead and lead high latency of transmission of control message.In view of the above existing problems,we proposed a method of constructing optical network channel based on OTDM technology.On the basis of this,the cooperative control architecture and the survivability of optical network control channel are deeply studied.The main work and innovation of this paper are as follows:First,Aiming at the high delay of control message in the traditional SDON control architecture over long distance transmission,an optical network node cluster assignment scheme and an optical control channel routing algorithm are proposed.At the same time,a spectrum resource allocation scheme based on optical time-division multiplexing is proposed to complete multiplexing of multiple control message.Second,in order to slove the problem of poor network expansion capability and performance lead by single controller,we proposed the implementation of independent optical network control channel and multiplex optical network control channel based on OTDM between the west-east multiplexing controllers.Third,due to the important role of control channel in SDON architecture,it is necessary to use protection mechanism to ensure the normal transmission of control message.To improve the survivability of optical network control channel,we proposed to combine multi-controller election mechanism,Och layer 1 + 1 dedicated protection mechanism,full-duplex backup protection mechanism and protect the optical network control channel.
