Massive MIMO and 3D beamforming are the key technologies of the fifth generation of mobile communication.Compared to conventional networks,Massive MIMO and 3D beamforming can effectively increase spectrum efficiency,energy efficiency and reduce inter-cell interference.3D beam forming technology makes full use of the channel state information(CSI)of vertical dimension in 3D channels.To further improve the transmission efficiency and performance of the wireless communication system,the 3D beamforming technology realizes the cell splitting and beams-switch technology.Based on the traditional beamforming algorithm,this paper mainly focused on the 3D beamforming technology in Massive MIMO networks.In this paper,based on a 3D Massive MIMO system established,we proposed a reasonable beam-switch strategy and a joint optimization scheme of beam tilts with different powers.In addition,we verified the proposed algorithm through the simulation.The main contents and innovations of this article are as follows:1.Aiming at the characteristics of Massive MIMO system,two important algorithms of linear beamforming,zero-forcing beamforming and conjugate beamforming were studied in this paper.The performance of the two beamforming techniques was analyzed under the partial channel state information.According to the stochastic matrix theory,the approximate throughput of the two beamforming algorithms was analyzed.The simulation results revealed that the approximate results were nearly closed to the theory results,especially in a larger-scale antenna network.2.In order to improve throughput of networks,this paper was devoted to propose a reasonable beam switching strategy.Through dynamic vertical-splitting strategy of each cell and allocated reasonable beam downtilts for the divided areas,the throughput of system would be improved effectively.3.In this paper,in order to maximize the capacity of the system in the Massive MIMO,we established a 3D beamforming system based on a two vertical splitting cells.This paper proposed a reasonable strategy based on a joint beam-switch and power control.In order to reduce the complexity of the traditional iteration algorithm,a PSO algorithm was applied.The simulation results show that this algorithm can effectively reduce the interference between different beams of the same base station and improve the system throughput.
