In order to meet the demands of the mobile Internet and the mobile Internet of things for wireless communication technology in the future,the 3rd Generation Partnership Project(3GPP)has launched the standardization of the key technology for New Radio in 5G system since 2016.As an important part of initial access technology for New Radio in5G system,.random access technology is to achieve.the uplinksynchronization between a user equipment(UE)and the gNode B(gNB)and uplink resource scheduling.It is directly 'related to the performance of the whole 5G system.This thesis studies the preamble signal design and preamble capacity enhancement scheme in random access technology for New Radio in 5G system.The main work and innovation points of this thesis include the following three aspects:1.A physical random access channel(PRACH)physical layer simulation platform for New Radio in 5G system is constructed and the preamble sequence sending and detecting process is achieved under Cluster Delay Line-C(CDL-C)channel in low-frequency scenarios and high-frequency scenarios by tracking the standard proposal related to PRACH in 3GPP R15,which is the basis of simulation performance evaluation of different preamble signal design.2.The performance simulation evaluation study of the preamble signal for New Radio in 5G system is carried out.The suggestion of the preamble signal design scheme for New Radio in 5G system is proposed by comparing the simulation performance of different preamble options,different preamble sequence and different lengths of the preamble sequence in 3GPP R15 based on the PRACH physical layer simulation platform in low-frequency and high-frequency scenarios.3.An interleaving-based preamble capacity enhancement scheme is designed to face the challenge of preamble capacity in 5G New Radio.By designing the interleaver on the transmitter and the de-interleaver on the receiver,the preamble sequence can be detected when the de-interleaver is matched with the interleaver,otherwise the preamble sequence can't be detected,a preamble sequence can be multiplexed by multiple users,which enhances the preamble capacity.Compared with the preamble capacity enhancement schemes proposed in 3GPP R15,the scheme is not limited by the preamble signal design scheme and a preamble sequence can be multiplexed by at most N! users theoretically.What's more,the scheme can easily be coupled with other preamble capacity enhancement schemes to further enhance the preamble capacity.This thesis provides the support for the standardization of preamble signal design for New.Radio in 5G and.proposes a valid preamble capacity enchancement scheme to face the challenge of preamble capacity in 5G New Radio,thus promotes the commercial deployment of 5G system.
