In recent years,mobile Internet has always been in a state of prosperity and the smart phone has basically expanded to universal coverage to an extent.The trend of highlights of mobile communication system is turning to mobile, broadband and IP development.3GPP has long occupied a dominant position for its steady evolution in the field of mobile communications.However,WiMAX broadband wireless access technology is pressing harder and harder while3GPP2air interface evolution AIE is also carrying up. In order to rank first continuously in the fierce competition,3GPP had to improve the speed of evolution of the existing network to meet customer in need so that developing vigorously and launching new service became the only option. Given the situation in the communications industry,3GPP Long Term Evolution-lTE organization proposed research framework. In this thesis, we mainly research on the detection algorithm on preamble signal of random access channel in the LTE FDD mode.The traditional algorithm of the receiving node of has been computing for a large amount, and the current research on algorithm optimization for PRACH preamble detection is relatively little amount.So we have to seek for the improvements from tradition.Firstly,do study in the random access procedure on LTE physical layer including LTE needs indicators and key technologies introduced, the frame structure and the basic concept of time-frequency resources.The uplink physical layer is described focused on the PRACH channels principle and concepts related as random access procedure PRACH channel in use including the generation,receiving and detection process of PRACH preamble sequence and signal preamble in FDD mode,providing theoretical support for algorithm design at the receiving node and accordingly offering analysis of the traditional design of the receiver.In order to verify the performance of the improved algorithm, a PRACH channel simulation model is built based on the Eclipse development platform which gives the performance simulation graph of improved algorithm combined in three areas in line with the performance of3GPP protocol.Compared to the conventional algorithm,it can more effectively improve the detection performance PRACH preamble signal.
