Content centric network is a new type of network architecture,which can fundamentally solve the mismatch problem between the needs that content's distribution and retrieval in current network and the "host--host" communication mode based on IP network.In-Network Caching,as one of most important feature of CCN architecture,directly affects the network performance,while there are many deficiencies in existed caching strategies.Summarized traditional Leave Copy Everywhere caching strategy,this paper proposed Autonomous System Cooperative Caching(ASCC)based on content hierarchical,which improved LCE by three ways.(1)Let content placement combined with request forwarding proposed Neighbor Searching Caching Strategy to allow on-path routers to know and utilize the content cached in off-path routers.This strategy reduced the request latency and the Interest request can see much more cache space before it is forwarded outside the region.(2)Take differentiation caching into account,proposed On Path Cooperative Caching.compared to traditional blind LCE strategy,On Path Cooperative Caching add a new priority attribute in the Data packet,to enable on-path routers to make caching decisions according to local policies while considering content access costs.(3)Introduce the concept of content hierarchical,take the content in the network into different level based on their access time.In conclusion,the ASCC based on content hierarchical improves the hit-ratio and request latency performance.In this paper we constructed content centric network simulation platform based on the NS-3 simulator and CCNx protocol,on which experiments using cache hit-ratio,access latency and average hop distance as indicators.Experiment results shown that the ASCC made better performance than LCE.
