Automated trust negotiation(ATN)is an effective way to solve the problem of building trust in cross-security domains. In the negotiation, the strategy is used to determine the standard of building trust and the method of disclosing certificates. The specifications of evaluating negotiation strategy are security, success rate and efficiency.Existing negotiation strategies can guarantee success rate, but exist problems in security and efficiency. How to design a type of negotiation strategy that can ensure success rate, improve security and efficiency has become the focus of this paper.Based on the analysis of the existing negotiation strategy and traditional ATN model,a type of negotiation strategy based on certificate disclosure sequence(BCDS)and a type of ATN model based on history information(BHATN)were presented. The BCDS strategy can build trust in cross-security domains by a certificate disclosure sequence which created by a type of policy directed-graph and its reduction rule; The BHATN adds ticket module and history disclosure sequence module in traditional ATN model.According to the working conditions of ticket, the history ticket and the trust ticket with their relation formats and working processes are presented in this paper. The BHATN model can employ different history information to build trust quickly for negotiations who have the same processes.Comparing with the existing negotiation strategy, the BCDS strategy can guarantee success rate, improve efficiency to some extent and use minimal number of certificates.Comparing with traditional ATN model, the BHATN model can avoid executing the same negotiation processes and reduce the negotiation time.
