Research Of Automated Trust Negotiation Based On Policy Verification And Trust Certificate

Automated Trust Negotiation, ATN is the way to solve the problem of how to establish trust relationship between two strangers in the opening network system. During Negotiation,peers have to not only conceal sensitive information, but also reveal information to strengthen mutual trust, that contradictory situation makes negotiation safety and efficiency to become the main concern problem. Meanwhile, peers protect sensitive information by using access control policy. Therefore, how to generate consistent policy to make negotiation efficient and safe, and put forward an efficient and sate model has become the main point for this research.This article firstly makes a research for consistence of access control policy. By varying policies and analyzing the reason of policy inconsistence, we propose a policy consistency solution based on polynomial. And then, describe the influence of policy verification for negotiation and make a comparison for various solutions.By analyzing negotiation historical information to increase negotiation efficiency in Trust-X, we propose a new negotiation model to increase the efficiency and safety of negotiation. The new model add consistent checker of policy, trust certificate repository and trust evaluation module into the traditional negotiation model. Consistent checker is able to increase the negotiation efficiency, success rate and safety. Trust certificate is able to accelerate negotiation and prevent denial of service attack by malicious node.By doing experiment in Trustbuilder2, compare the negotiation success rate of negotiation with consistency check and negotiation without consistency check, it has been proved that consistent checker is able to increase negotiation success rate. Compare the negotiation assumption between the proposed model and the traditional model, compare the negotiation assumption when trust certificate can be used directly and indirectly. Prove that the proposed model is able to increase negotiation efficiency and trust evaluation is also good for negotiation efficiency on the base of trust certificate. Therefore, the proposed model is safe and efficient.
