Along with the rapid development of communication technology,multi-frequency transmission has become the focus of the current hot issues and areas of concern communication.How to communicate the signals of different frequencies simultaneously,has become the focus of the communication equipment manufacturers.Since Frequency Selective Surface(FSS)have a spatial filtering characteristics,so multi-frequency of the band-pass FSS can transfer certain frequency electromagnetic waves,while the other band electromagnetic wave reflection.This multi-frequency characteristics provide new ideas and solutions to how to transmit signals in different frequencies efficiently.In this paper,the problem of how to design a high selectivity multi-band Frequency Selective Surfaces with bandpass characteristic has been researched.Firstly,the advantages and disadvantages of the current general methods of designing multi-frequency FSS has been analyzed.Then,according to the required operating frequency range and related performance indicators,suggest that the new type of FSS designed should have the frequency selectivity.With the basis of the coupling slot structure,by analyzing the operating characteristics and principle of the coupling dipole unit,successfully designed a bilayer FSS whose number of the passband can be adjustable.The adjustable FSS can change the number of passband by adjusting the structure.The number of passband can change from two to five.The passband with high selectivity distributed evenly.The adjustable FSS with the changing-number passband can suit the tense situation of spectrum resources,and provide a reference value for the rapid development of military technology and equipment such as integrated radar and integrated mast.
