Establishment Of Costume Pattern Database Platform Based On Digital Color Co-ordination

As a special art form,pattern has giant effect on the ornament.In fashion design,pattern design can often make clothing icing on the cake,make it more personality,and then improve the quality and competitive power of the product.In the development of the clothing industry,there are many patterns in modern or ancient times,in China or abroad,which can be a valuable resource for the modern fashion design.But the massive resources have brought a certain difficulties in management.It is difficult for some designers to find out the reference pattern and get its informations quickly and accurately,especially the accurate color information effectively.Therefore,it is of great significance to create a special pattern database system for costume pattern information management.In this study,the costume pattern is regarded as subject investigated.The "shape" and "color" which contribute to the classification and attribute definition of the patterns are put forward as two elements of the pattern.And the framework of costume pattern information management is constructed.Then,further analysis of the factors which affecting the clothing color are done from the clothing craft,clothing fabrics and other information.Meanwhile the problems that should be paid attention to in the process of color co-ordination are summarized.Next the digital color theory is used to show the color and do the color co-ordination of the pattern digitally,that makes the communication between designers and producers more convenient and accurate.Finally,the database management system of costume pattern is built preliminary.The implementation of the system relies on Java EE technology system.MySQL is used as system database server,Apache Tomcat 7.0 as application server,MyEclipse8.0 as integrated development tools.The database platform keeps up to the trend of the digitalization design,and accomplishes the apparel pattern data management from the man to the computer.As the same time,a rich source of inspiration for designers was provides with pattern and color information to help designers and related personnel get the pattern information more quickly,and let them know the pattern characteristics better.It is not only conducive to the communication between designers and producers accurately,helpful to the attractive and practical pattern design,but also short the period of development of clothing products,bring remarkable benefits for the enterprise.
