Analysis And Design Of Collateral Management Information System Of CITIC Bank

As the second source of loan repayment,collateral is an important risk mitigation tool.Especially in the economic downturn term.collateral is playing an important role in controlling and mitigating the risk,Bad decision or not whether the collateral management can have an alternative effect on the role of risk mitigation.Presently,the collateral management capacity has become an important part of commercial banks' management ability,and also there are several complicated issues because of the numerous,variety,wide distribution and uncertain quality of collateral.Therefore,how to improve the collateral management capabilities has become an important issue of commercial banks.As the sixth largest commercial bank in China,CITIC bank has ranked second among the joint-stock commercial banks,whose total asset has exceeded 5 trillion,and also made a condition of financial license fully covered.This article takes CITIC bank as an example to analyze the problems of the collateral management of commercial banks,discusses the necessity and reality of the collateral management information system and the demand for the collateral management information system,at last make operational and scalable suggestions.Main contents of this paper are shown as follow.First,the article analyzes and grasps the current situation of CITIC bank's collateral management,summarizes the questions of the collateral management in CITIC bank.Secondly,this paper analyzes the functional demand and the non-functional demand of the CITIC bank's collateral management information system on the basement of combining the business model,the current situation of the collateral management and the expected target of the collateral management level.Finally,On the basis of the demand analysis,this paper completes the design of CITIC bank's collateral management information system and with the help of the scheme design.This system aimed enhancing the collateral management capability of CITIC bank,and increasing the scientific and reasonable design of this system.Author of this article has the experience of collateral management in commercial bank,and can design the practical and feasible collateral information management system of CITIC bank in combination with the actual situation of CITIC bank's collateral management,and put the design plan into practice.After the application of CITIC bank's collateral management information system design scheme,it can effectively solve the problems of CITIC bank's collateral management,meanwhile,it will bring new thinking to other commercial banks.
