Beer is a kind of drink,this paper takes recycled beer bottle as the object of study.At present,China's beer sales have been ranked first in the world,and 80%beer bottles are recycled bottles.Recycled bottles probably have some defects that may cause Disastrous consequences in production line.Hence,all recycled bottles need to be cleaned inspected before refilling.Traditional detection method uses manual lamp inspection by trained workers checking the recycled bottles in front of the light boxes in darkrooms.The manual inspection way is slow,complex,unreliable,and highly undetected,while the vision-based beer bottle inspector is high speed,accurately,and highly reliable with automatically inspection.Currently,our country is far behind other developed countries in the recycled beer bottle detection area.With the rapid development of China's beer industry,it is urgent for China to make a breakthrough and it is necessary for us to put forward a deep and systematic research on the recycled beer bottle inspector area.The main achievements and innovations of this paper include the following aspects:1.On the basis of the research of foreign related achievements,the thesis mainly introduces the concept of recycled bottle visual inspector,domestic market demand,related visual machine inspection technology,and finally introduces the application of machine vision in various industries.The thesis summarizes the overseas research and development of recycled bottle visual inspection.2.The overall Beverage empty bottle inspection robot design.The thesis studies the recycled bottle detection system and its basic structure.Firstly,the thesis introduces the function of each structure of the straight-line transmission system.Then,the thesis introduced the bad bottle ejection system and its working principle.In the recycled bottle body inspection robot electrical control system,the PC based control system scheme is presented,and the control system is implemented by a SIEMENS S7-200PLC.3.The thesis introduces the application of digital image processing technology in recycled bottle inspection robot.For the bottle mouth position,the thesis give a random point Hough transform detection method.For the bottle bottom,the thesis give a preliminary positioning by gradient Hough circle position method,then use the threshold segmentation,contour extraction and circle fitting to achieve accurate positioning.4.The Recycled bottle inspection prototype is developed.The thesis give a completed experimental system of mechanical,electrical control,design,installation and debugging and put forwards the PC based recycled bottle inspection robot working process and software architecture.A completed set of PC based software platform is developed through Microsoft Visual Studio 2012,and an algorithm parameter database is established.Through the development of detection system and prototype,many practical problems has been found and solved,and a wealth of practical experience has been accumulated.
