Content Centric Networking(CCN)is an emerging network architecture.In-network caching deployed on the routers is one of the important features of CCN,which can improve the efficiency of content distribution.In general,the larger the cache capacity of the router holds,the more types and numbers of contents can be cached so that higher the cache hit rate will be.However,the capacity of the in-network caching device is small and the unit price is high.Therefore,when performing network planning,how to promote the participation of all ISPs(Internet Service Providers),and how to determine the location of the cache and the cache capacity size of the routers for the sake of improving the network performance are problems in cache deployment.To solve the above problems,a step-by-step cache deployment scheme is proposed which aims to minimize the network delay.In the first place,the total cache capacity of an access network ISP in CCN is planned,and then the planned total cache capacity is deployed on routers within an arbitrary topology structure.1.To make all ISPs in CCN gain revenues while deploying cache and to plan the total cache capacity of an access ISP,a cooperative cache capacity planning scheme based on multi-win pricing strategy is proposed.In view of the characteristics of caching and sharing content over CCN,the economic relationship among access ISP,transit ISP and content provider in CCN is analyzed,the utility model about the different ISPs' revenue is established.It is proved that there are cooperative caching pricing strategies that can make all ISPs get revenues.Combining the user behavior and the cost of caching content,the total cache capacity of an access ISP is planned.The simulation results verify that all ISPs can gain revenues through cooperative caching pricing strategies.2.In order to deploy the total cache capacity planned in the previous step on routers,a fine-grained cache deployment scheme is proposed,which can determine the cache location and the cache capacity of the router at the same time.To ensure that the proposed scheme can be applied to access networks with different structures,for the host-standby network topology and complex network topology,the primary topology setting and k-core decomposition algorithm are respectively adopted to construct the previous topology into a hierarchical structure.Then,the cache capacity is gradually deployed on routers under the hierarchical structure,and each time the solution with the minimum network delay is selected as the deployment result.Simulation results show that,compared with the edge caching deployment scheme,the fine-grained cache deployment scheme can reduce the total network delay of the access network by an average of 57%.Meanwhile,the proposed scheme can also cut down the traffic from the access network and improve the cache hit rate of the access network.
