Bionic polarization navigation is a navigation method based on natural polarization characteristics.It is difficult to be disturbed on a large scale,therefore research on this topic is of great significance.In this thesis,we propose a method to obtain latitude and longitude information by using atmospheric polarization mode.By analyzing the ?shape feature of atmospheric polarization mode,the solar position information is obtained,and latitude and longitude information is calculated by using the relationship between solar position and latitude and longitude.Experimental results show that the method is able to calculate latitude and longitude position information in real time by obtaining the ? shape feature of the atmospheric polarization mode at one time,and obtain additional spatial parameters and astronomical information without other auxiliary equipment,which enables good autonomy and practicability.Bionic polarization navigation provides a viable location information acquisition method.The main work of this paper includes:(1)A method for solving the solar position based on the Hough transform is proposed,solving the problem of the location information of the polarized light.The method is based on the Hough transform principle to analyze the ? shape feature model and obtain the sun location information.(2)Based on the information of solar location,a method to retrieve latitude and longitude is proposed.By approximating the solution of astronomical quantity and transforming the spatial coordinate system,longitude and latitude information is calculated.Simulation result verify the feasibility of the method and analyze the error.(3)Experimental results show that under clear weather conditions,errors of longitude and latitude are within 1°,whereas under cloudy conditions,longitude error is within 1°while latitude error is no more than 2°.
