Toughened glass insulator(TGI)is mainly used in high voltage transmission lines for insulation and suspension wires.During production process,it need to be homogenized treatment.At present,most enterprises still use manual way to upper kiln operation.This method has great labor intensity,long working hours,and poor working environment,which can not meet the demand of rapid production of industrial automation.For TGI,the production demand of all automation upper kiln has been studied deeply.The intelligent upper kiln device of TGI based on machine vision was developed.A large number of online experiment are carried out using this intelligent upper kiln device.Analyze and verify its reliability and stability.This paper mainly carries out the following research:(1)Aiming at the characteristics of TGI,the intelligent upper kiln device based on machine vision is designed,including the mechanical system,control system,vision system.In the mechanical system,according to the characteristics of the decreasing layer of TGI,the camera lifting mechanism is designed.Using servo motor and stepper motor,the quality image of TGI is collected.At the same time,the mechanical hand clamping is designed.It cooperate with robot arm to complete the lifting,reverse and placement of the products.It also can achieve grasp and place of the bulkhead and bracket.In the control system,the operation of the whole intelligent upper kiln system is controlled by industrial control computer.Aiming at the characteristics of TGI,this paper proposes a two-step strategy to complete the upper kiln work.Cooperate with mechanical and visual system,using some relevant electrical equipment to achieve relevant functions.In the vision system,according to the actual demand and the working conditions,this device light source chooses LED high-end integrated ceiling lamp.The industrial camera chooses the Genie TS series M2500 surface scanning camera produced by Canada.Lens model is C1614-M(KP),focal length of 16 mm.(2)Then perform the image pre-processing operation,analyzes the advantage and disadvantage of each kind of pre-processing algorithm.An improved algorithm for insulator filtering based on M-K is proposed.In the edge detection algorithm,the three spline interpolation was used for interpolation.To get edge profile of the positive and anti-product sub-pixel precision.(3)In the identification and localization algorithm of TGI,A TGI information fusion algorithm based on feature matching and laser correction is presented.The characteristics of positive and anti-products can not be distinguished by conventional contour extraction method.This paper based on the least square method and the four elliptic fitting method is used to simulate multiple circles to figure out the average.In the algorithm of TGI information fusion,the feature contour of extraction is used to make the feature matching and accurate positioning.Using laser sensor for positive and anti-identification correction,the accuracy of recognition is improved.(4)The intelligent upper kiln system of TGI is designed,it uses Sapera LT software library and OpenCV open source visual arithmetic library to perform image processing and image processing.In the Visual Stdio 2010 development environment,use Microsoft Foundation Class to build a system framework.In the control system,the programmable logic controller is used.The GX Works2 software is programmed and the CC-Link module is used to communicate.A large number of online experimental data indicate,the positioning error of this intelligent upper kiln system can be controlled at plus or minus 5.0mm.The efficiency of the intelligent upper kiln device can complete nine products per minute,far higher than artificial kiln.And this system operate stability.
