With the advent of the digital age,traditional newspapers have accelerated the pace of media convergence and transformation.New York Times,The Guardian,The Wall Street Journal and People's Daily and other domestic and foreign newspapers have used emerging technologies to create newspaper brands and enhance the newspaper's market value and core competitiveness.Virtual reality technology(referred to as VR)and augmented reality(referred to as AR)are emerging media technology as the emerging media.Nowadays,with the popularization of technology and the update of hardware and equipment,virtual reality technology and augmented reality technology have been gradually transformed from the early experimental stage to the application stage and begun to be integrated into the editorial offices of major newspaper media.Many newspapers and media are beginning to explore and try to use virtual reality technology and augmented reality technology to cover the news,engaged in newspaper publishing.In fact,the popularization and development of the Internet,the emergence of digital publishing have had a tremendous impact and influence on the publication of traditional newspapers.The traditional newspapers must adapt to the changing needs of the times so as to be able to better adapt to the digital publishing environment for further development.Therefore,this dissertation focuses on the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing,combined with the latest cases both at home and abroad,analyzes the present situation and the restrictive factors of the application of new technology in newspaper publishing.In order to solve the problem,we should seek for new solutions and innovative methods,open up new ideas for the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publication,and put forward more reasonable and feasible development proposals.This thesis is divided into six parts altogether:The first part is the introduction:The main research background and significance of this paper,research status at home and abroad,research objectives,research content and research methods,as well as the innovation of the paper.Through macroscopic analysis,explain the research value of the thesis.The second part is the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing.Analysis of the status quo:This section focuses on the concept of virtual / augmented reality technology and the application of the two technologies,and through the case at home and abroad,analyzes the virtual / augmented reality technology Application Status of Newspapers in Publishing.The third part is the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing.Features:The paper mainly explores the application characteristics of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing from the aspects of immersion,interaction and autonomy.The fourth part is the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing.Restricting factor analysis:This part focuses on the problems in newspaper publishing in the application of the two emerging technologies and explores the factors restricting technological development.The fifth part is the application of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing.It focuses on the application prospect of virtual / augmented reality technology in newspaper publishing and explores the new methods and new ideas of combining the two with newspaper publishing.The sixth part is the conclusion:This part focuses on the whole text to sort out and summarize the virtual / augmented reality technology in the newspaper published in the foreground of a reasonable forecast.Strive to summarize the full text,draw conclusions.
