With the rapid development of the internet,traditional media are gradually replacing by the new media.Relative to the new media,traditional media have the slow spread speed,narrow channels,insufficient propaganda strength,limitation of single-direction dissemination,and relatively fixed contents,resulting in the declination of the traditional media.In this way,lots of newsAPP emerged at the right moment.Under the background of the overall era,“Today's Headline” emerged at the right moment.Today's Headline is a mobileapplication that makes personalized content recommendation based on data mining.Today's Headline's mission is to help its users consume the most valuable information in the most convenient fashion.Born to revolutionize the information distribution industry,our application presents content based on the user's interests.This paper studied the “Today's Headline” from product features,user positioning and competitive products to have the in-depth study on the rapid growth causes for “Today's Headline” in practice.This paper included six parts: Part 1: introduction,including research background,research significance,reference,research method,theoretical foundation and innovative point.In the part 2,the author conducted product analysis for “Today'sHeadline” from product introduction,product features,content sources,interface composition and profitability.In the part 3,the author analyzed users of “Today'sHeadline”,collected and systemized questionnaires to position user features of “Today's Headline”.In the part 4,the author conducted the competitive product analysis for “Today's Headline”,made a comparison on other types of news client and made SWOT analysis for the current.In the part 5,the author elaborated the main difficulties in the current development of “Today's Headline” and provided feasible opinions.In the part 6,the author analyzed mobile news client development strategy,analyzed the future development strategy of “Today's Headline” and elaborated the future development tendency of the mobile client.
