Since a safe and harmonious campus environment for the students' healthy growth and development is of great significance,it is very important to construct a campus safety management system. To this end, this paper proposes a campus safety management application software to enhance the informatization management of campus security. This thesis first describes the system design background and significance. Then,a brief introduction to the main technical means is given.Next,we investigate the feasibility of developing such a campus security management system and the requirements of the developing process.Detailed analyses are carried out on aspects such as the system functionality, performance and security.Based on the requirement analysis,we complete the design of the campus safety management system based on B/S framework. Our system mainly consists of the following modules:user management, student access management, major site monitoring and surveillance video information management, etc. After that,we implement our system based on tools, such as JSP,JDBC and SQL SERVER 2008 database. Finally,we carried out many detailed tests.Test results show that our system has realized all basic functionalities and it can satisfy most of requirements of campus safety management. The system is characterized as follows:1)our system integrated the static information given by user management module and access management module;2)our system integrated the dynamic information, which is mainly in the form of monitoring video;3)our system is simple, and has an intuitive and friendly interface. The design and implementation of this system will provide important guarantee for campus safety management.Above all,it will bring positive influence for the study, work and life of teachers and students in colleges.
