With the rapid development of mobile Internet,tremendous changes have taken place in daily life behavior in the field of basic necessities of life of people,such as instant communication,finance,health management,games and entertainment.In recent years,along with the popularization of Android and IOS smart handheld terminal equipment,the development and application of mobile social networking service has intensified,has gradually become an important part in people's daily life.Too many types of intelligent devices and more and more functions of devices result in a growing type of sharing and communication and much larger file capacity.So the file transfer among devices will cause a lot of problems,such as slow transmission rate,unstable transmission signal,and so on.Furthermore,there are many existed file transmission technology,such as Bluetooth,NFC,Wi-Fi and so on,however,they are not all perfect:transmission distance of Bluetooth is short and unstable;the NFC transmission is single type.Currently,the social network application we used mainly relies on the server to communicate.Even with the shortest distance,intelligent mobile devices will have to by means of using the infrastructure network services for communication,chatting,and file sharing.In the situation that sometimes the users do not want to exchange information through Internet provider server when they locate in proximity area,the client will not meet the demand of users for near field communication.Moreover,a large volume of social networking server-side data needs to be transmitted resulting in an enormous pressure on the bandwidth and the server.Furthermore,users will not achieve best experience because of the charges of the public wireless hotspot.In order to make the mobile social networking service more perfect,the thesis uses Android 4.2.2 as the development platform,designs and implements a wireless Resource Sharing and Instant Message system based on Wi-Fi Direct,which meets people's demands of Resource Sharing and Instant Message without accessing to the network facilities,such as wireless routers.The specific work we do in this thesis is as follows:Firstly,we analyze various of related applications and technologies of mobile sharing and communication system,and summarize the domestic and foreign development of Wi-Fi Direct technology.Comparing with Bluetooth,ZigBee technology and other transfer method,we summarize advantages of Wi-Fi Direct in file transfer.In the requirement analyses step,the paper first introduces the mobile shared and communication platform,and then analyses the requirement of Android subsystem from the aspects of function and performance.We solve the problem that users cannot communicate without the wireless hotspot which provided by internet service provider by designing a P2P communication architecture based on Wi-Fi Direct mobile sharing and communication system on Android platform.Then,we design and realize various modules of the whole system including Wi-Fi Direct functional module,Socket functional module,GPS functional module,data-sharing module,and instant messaging module based on Wi-Fi Direct mobile sharing and communication system on Android platform.This new design opens a new thinking for social services in the scenario of inexistence of internet services.Finally,the proposed mobile sharing and social networking platform based on Wi-Fi Direct is realized and tested.The system performs as expected after the testing procedure.The work summary and experimental analysis are also introduced a new thinking for the subsequent.Finally pointed out the shortcomings of the system and the need for improvement.
