With the continuous development of manufacturing industry in China,3D printing technology has also been rapid development.The research on 3D printers has become a major research project in universities and enterprises.At present,various 3D printers has been researched,which the FDM technology equipment is using ABS,PLA as the materials has been relatively mature,but the FDM equipment which is use Bi-Sn alloy as the material hasn't been fully studied.This paper is based on enterprise practice project and under the support of the Graduate Student Innovation Fund of Xijing University.Based on FDM technology,design a 3D printer which is suitable for low-melting alloy materials.This article mainly comprehensive research and development is mechanical system design and optimization of 3D printer.First,through the comparative analysis of FDM equipment,and the performance of Bi-Sn,proposed a complete structural design scheme.The project chooses CREO software to modeling every main part,and assembles them together based on the virtual design system.Then,the structural statics analysis of the frame and the model analysis of the whole machine to verify the strength,stiffness and stability of the printer geometry,the thermal analysis of the nozzle extrusion structure to verify the heat transfer performance of the structure by using ANSYS.When the performance of the mechanical system to meet the design requirement,the lightweight analysis of the frame structure.
