In modern warfare,the electromagnetic environment is more and more complex so that Radar anti-jamming technology has been greatly improved,which makes the traditional Radar jamming technology unable to achieve the expected effect.Digital Jamming Synthesis(DJS)developed rapidly with its high precision and good effect on Multi-threat signals.Due to the non-linearity of the amplifier and the limited bits of the DAC,high PAPR problem exists in DJS system,which makes the effective power of synthesized signal is reduced greatly.This paper studies how to improve the effective power of synthesized jamming signals in DJS system.Firstly,this paper introduces the basic composition and principle and performance indicators of DJS system,the typical DJS jamming signals and their synthesis technology;then it puts forward the importance of and significance of the study on constant power control on the signals in DJS Radar jamming system.Secondly,the PAPR of DJS synthesized jamming signals and its characteristic curve are discussed,MATLAB simulations are given and the problem that the signals with high PAPR in DJS system can reduce the effective power is analyzed from the view of the non-linear characteristic of the amplifier.Then,the effect on the reducation of PAPR of the synthesized signal and the problem caused by clipping are discussed.The spectral broadening problem caused by clipping signal is discussed in detail and the related simulations are given.The analysis shows that the effective power of signal which is clipped and then amplified is improved.Finally,it is proposed to use the conformal transformation method to suppress the PAPR of synthesized signals.The two applications of the algorithm in the jamming system are both simulated,and the effective power of the processed signal is discussed.The analysis shows that the conformal transformation can increase the effective power of the signal and has a better effect than that of clipping method.
