The RRM Test Research Of LTE User Equipment Based On TS8980 System

LTE terminal is the latest generation of mobile terminals on the market at present,as the most popular mobile terminals,it is the key point of developing and manufacturing of the terminal manufacturers.In the process of LTE terminal development,the Test is a very important part.By a variety of tests,we can find bugs of the terminal,we can know whether the terminal is meet the function requirement.RRM(Radio Resource Management)test,combines some characteristics of the protocol test and the hardware test,not only pay attention to the RF Conformance testing,and focus on the radio resource management protocol procedure.Because the RRM test is one item of GCF test,the terminal manufacturers have to meet the specifications of RRM test made by the 3GPP.This paper first introduces the LTE system requirements,design goal and key technology,and then describe the detailed system architecture and protocol hierarchy.Under the background of these technologies,studied the radio resource management(RRM)test of LTE terminals.This paper also introduces the R&S TS8980 RRM test system.Studied the system in some actual problems encountered in the test,and studied the user defined script development method based on the system.At last,developed a set of user-defined scripts based on TS8980 system,reduces the cost of the RRM test,shorten the period of the test cycle.
