Microwave photonics signal processing technology is a burgeoning research subject which combines the two worlds of conventional microwave technology and the modern optical signal processing technology.In this thesis the author will propose some microwave processors including microwave photonics filter,phase shifter and mixer with phase controlling ability based on the practical signal processing demands.For microwave photonics filters the authors believe that the reconfigurability is the most significant advantage beside the intrinsic ones such as immunity of EM interference etc.The reconfigurability including switchability between the bandpass and bandstop filter,the tunability of the center frequency of the passband or stopband or even the variable numbers of the passbands or stopbands.So in this thesis the authors will propose a novel microwave photonics filter based on the stimulated Brillouin scattering effect in the fiber.And the proposed microwave photonics filter is demonstrated by experiments.The experiment results illustrate that the reject ratio between passband and the stopband is over 40 dB which is enough for practical use.As for the microwave phase shifter,the authors mainly pay attention to the methods to control the phase of under processed microwave signal when the basic parameters reached the requirements of practical using.A convenient way to set the phase of the signal which is compatible to the modern computer control system is a remarkable progress for the microwave phase shifter research.Based on this idea the authors designed a microwave photonics phase shifter need only a single DC voltage for phase controlling.In this thesis the authors will also propose a microwave photonics mixer with phase shifting ability based on the single DC voltage controlled phase shifter which is very useful for the phased array systems.The mixer is switchable between the down conversion and up conversion without changing system structure.It is implemented in a compact structure.When working in the up conversion state it can be changed to a multiple output system by using a optical spliter and the phase of each output signal can be controlled independently.
