Risk Perception?Mental Health?Risk Behaviors Of Homosexuals And Its Media Influence Factors

Modern society is an increasingly complex risk society.With the development of information technology,the risk information has been spread fastly and widely,which provides a strong external protection for risk communication,and greatly accelerats the risk of socialization.As for homosexuals who have their own unique characteristics,the risks they faced are high and special.Based on the theory of communication,the study analyzes the homosexual risk communication which give priority to health risks,achievement risks,social risks,rights risks and social risks.The study also explores the effects of homosexual risk information on homosexuals from three aspects: risk perception,mental health and risk behaviors,combined with sociology,psychology and other subject knowledge.The survey found that the respondents use media frequently and dependently,the majority of respondents were moderate to heavy Internet users;risk perception are not that much high,and varies with the type of risk;as for the mental health,the respondents are a bit of optimism,which have a negative correlation with the risk perception.The behavior of the respondents is more rational or negative.Due to the magnification of homosexual risk and the homosexual's selective exposure to the risk information,risk communication has "limited effect" to the homosexuals.So it is of great significance to improve homosexuals' media literacy and government risk management ability,creating a healthy and safe information environment for homosexuals,integrating the social organization forces,which could reduce homosexual risks.
