Radar is extensively employed and playing an important role in the system of military,aerospace,weather forecasting and mapping.In order to ensure reliability of the radar equipments in applications,the function and performance of radar need to be verified and tested perior to be equiped.In this thesis,the real-time communication and processing system was designed based on ZYNQ,that is a function module of the radar testing system to achieve status monitoring and functional test of the radar transmitter and single processing unit and provide protection for the normal operation of radar equipment.The performance of the system is improved with a new technology of hardware-software co-design.In addition,the key function of requirements is the real-time communication and data processing in 5ms or 10 ms period.Firstly,this thesis introduces the work flow of real-time communication and processing system.The overall design scheme of hardware and software of the system and the selection of chassis and embedded controller is proposed according to the relevant design requirements.Secondly,the hardware board is divided into three parts: core control module,function interface module and serial communication module according to the system functions.The hardware circuit and timing logic of each module are designed respectively,including synchronous and asynchronous serial interface,PXI bus Interface,function peripherals and HDMI.Thirdly,this paper introduces the design of test software,and the test process control and data processing functions are implemented in Lab Windows/CVI and SDK,respectively.Their main contents include the realization method of the host computer software,the design of UI and implementation of solution algorithm,meanwhile the transmission via DMA and DH algorithm are introduced.Considering the function extension of the system in the future,the embedded Linux operating system is ported to improve the integration and expansibility of the system,and to verify the the hardware functions of the interfaces,such as USB,Ethernet,SD card and HDMI.The real-time communication and processing system will be designed as an embedded instrument that can complete the radar test task independently.Finally,testing results show that the real-time communication and processing system interface operates correctly,and the protocol and software functions meet the design requirements.The function of real-time communication and data processing requirements can be achieved.And testing with the radar verifies that the design can realize the timing control and state monitoring of the measured equipment,and fully meet the design expectations.
