In our country,stroke disease is a common cause of death and disability in the elderly.Rehabilitation therapy is aimed to help patients to overcome movement disorders caused by stroke and restore movement function.However,the traditional rehabilitation therapy is limited by complexity of wearable equipment,expensive,tedious rehabilitation and other defects in the clinical application.Therefore,the researchers proposed a kind of rehabilitation system that can stimulate the subjective and initiative of patients and also can improve the rehabilitation effects.This system combined virtual reality technology and upper limb recovery technology.It has advantages of real-time interactivity and interestingness.So it can improve the enthusiasm and initiative of patients.Also it can improve the efficiency and the effect of rehabilitation training.Based on the above research background of rehabilitation training and the demands of patients,this paper designed an upper limb rehabilitation training system,which was combined K inect sensor and virtual reality technology.The specific work is as follows:Firstly,this paper described the causes of stroke dyskinesia and corresponding theoretical basis of exercise rehabilitation and analyzed K inect motion-sensor technology application in clinical medicine at home and abroad,which established the general structure and the design scheme of robot assisted virtual rehabilitation training system based on Kinect motion-sensor technology.Secondly,this paper introduces the working principle and hardware composition of the K inect sensor.Based on the framework of the K inect system,this paper developed the skeleton tracking of the human upper limb and the simple module of gesture tracking.Thirdly,according to the needs of rehabilitation treatment and mixed with geometric and image modeling technology,this paper designed and developed a computer high immersive interactive rehabilitation training task,including horizontal rehabilitation environment and three-dimensional space rehabilitation exercise environment so as to strengthen patients with shoulder,elbow and wrist coordination.Finally,the virtual rehabilitation training system simulation platform was constructed with the Kinect sensor as the hardware platform.This paper carried out the experimental study in two-dimensional and three-dimensional space,and analyzed motion data from healthy volunteer to verify the effectiveness of robot assisted rehabilitation training system based on the technology of Kinect motion-sensor.
