In recent years,the technology of the Internet of things obtained great advance,and the demand for wireless spectrum increased rapidly in the 5G communication era.The existing communication band and wireless communication technology can not meet the needs of people.At the same time,the world's communication regulators allow the use of the 60 GHz unauthorized communication band.Besides,the IEEE standard institution works actively to develop the appropriate protocol standards and requirements for millimeter wave communications.In this case,the 60 GHz millimeter wave communication system appeared,so as to meet the requirements of ultra high speed(Gbps)data communication.However,the 60 GHz millimeter wave communication has a path loss of up to 28 dB with respect to the 2.4GHz communication.Therefore,the transceiver uses the large scale antenna technology to compensate the path loss and improve the communication quality.The general beamforming system is connected to a digital baseband processor via an analog RF link,for signal processing at the digital baseband.However,with the increase of the antennas numbers,analog RF link not only can improve the sending and transmitting energy,but also can increase the hardware cost of the system.So a single analog RF link is used to reduce the complexity of the system.The purpose of beam search is to select the best beam pair for transceiver communication through beam training mechanism.In order to reduce the complexity of the beam search process,a fast beam search algorithm based on beam coding is proposed.First of all,the 60 GHz wireless communication system is studied.And its existing research results are analyzed.In addition,the existing two major international standards,IEEE802.15.3c and IEEE802.11 ad standards are discussed.In order to reduce the dimension of signal processing,a fast beam domain transform scheme is proposed.It can improve the signal resolution and system robustness of DOA estimation.Then,focusing on the beam search scheme mentioned in the two standard.It is concluded that the complexity of the algorithm is improved with the increase of the number of codebook.In order to solve this problem,based on the fast beam domain transform,a beam coding scheme is introduced,and a fast beam search algorithm is proposed.A hybrid beamforming system for a single analog RF link is proposed.The beam coding can be performed in this system,using the orthogonality of CAZAC sequence.And then the DOA estimation at the receiver can reduce the complexity of the beam training mechanism.Finally,it is showed in the simulation results of Matlab that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the time and energy loss,reduce the complexity of the system and improve the system performance.
