With the integration and development of Internet of Things and GIS,the application of GIS in real-time monitoring of sensor equipment in Internet of Things has become an important hotspot in GIS research.It is also an important direction for GIS development.Compared to the traditional way of displaying sensor device data in a tabular format,more and more research aim at designing and developing more efficient and direct data visualization of GIS management sensor equipment.Configuration software is relatively mature in real-time monitoring equipment and data real-time visualization,but its introduction of GIS was only as a background map,so it did not exert the rich management functions of GIS.Therefore,from the GIS point of view,this paper open up new areas of the combination of GIS maps and Configuration,and create a new method of GIS managing equipment,to provide an intuitive and effective way for the sensor device management.Since GIS and Configuration express data visualization by symbol primitives based on the mapping,taking the vector map symbol as a hub and mapping rules as the drive,this project design and study the configuration method based on map symbol in GIS.It is in the light of the similar organization of the map symbol and Configuration to design the universal vector map symbol.In view of the unique advantages of SVG output vector graphics,it take SVG format graphics as an example to design a custom vector map symbol to abstract sensor device as the map identifier.By analyzing the characteristics of the sensor device data,the mapping rules between data and map symbol primitives are created,which means that the changes of the map symbols' visual variables are driven by the change of the sensor device data,to realize the real-time visualization of the data in a configurable way on the GIS map.The configuration method based on the map symbol are verified in the mobile GIS by developing the application APP on the mobile client.The APP,taking open source and the most users' Android operating system as a platform,equipped with open source map OSMDroid,modifies the map symbol drawing method to support vector map symbols.By means of the custom communication protocol and real-time communication protocol MQTT,it interacts sensor device data with Server,and re-renders map symbols at the same time of the data changes,to achieve real-time visualization of sensor data on mobile GIS map.In addition,the program also provides list of data display,threshold changes and message push and other rich features.
