People's life has changed by the emergence of communication technology.With the progress of society and the rapid development of communication technology,the communication service is becoming more and more diversified,and it changes from traditional voice communication to the present multimedia communication.Increasing demand for communication quality puts forward higher requirements for wireless mobile communication.How to improve the channel capacity and information transmission rate and increase the spectrum utilization under the condition of limited spectrum resources has become the focus of people's research.The birth of MIMO technology provides a new research direction to solve this problem.MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output)is a kind of technology which uses a plurality of transmitting antennas and receiving antennas to transmitted and receive signals at the transmitter and the receiver to improve the quality of communication.There are more obvious advantages in MIMO system such as making full use of space resources and the system can improve the system capacity without increasing the spectrum and the antenna transmit power.Distributed antenna system is an open architecture for future wireless communication,which has the advantage of uniform coverage and reduced blind spot.Distributed MIMO system is a combination of MIMO technology and distributed antenna technology.Compared with the centralized MIMO system,the distributed MIMO system has the advantages of larger average channel capacity,lower transmission power,lower system deployment cost and so on.However,because of the application of multi antenna in MIMO system and distributed MIMO system,the RF link will be corresponding increased,which eventually lead to the incensement of system complexity and the improvement of hardware cost.Antenna selection technology is considered to be an effective method to reduce the cost and complexity of the system.There are two criteria for antenna selection,which are the maximum channel capacity criterion and the minimum bit error rate criterion.In this paper,the research of the antenna selection algorithm which based on the distributed MIMO system in order to achieve the target of maximizes the system capacity and reduces the complexity.Firstly,starting from the MIMO system by building the transmission model of MIMO system and then deduces the channel capacity of MIMO system.Secondly,deducing the channel capacity of distributed MIMO system from the channel capacity of the centralized MIMO system and then simulates them which can be proved that the distributed MIMO system has more advantages of larger average channel capacity and more uniform converge than the centralized MIMO system.And then some classic antenna selection algorithms of MIMO system are compared and analyzed,and the several antenna selection algorithms are applied to the distributed MIMO system.The simulation results show that the antenna selection technique can effectively reduce the complexity of the system.Finally,based on the core idea of the classical algorithms,two new algorithms are proposed which based on the port selection and compared with the classical algorithms.The simulation results show that compared with the classical algorithms,new algorithms can effectively reduce the complexity and only lost a little channel capacity and obviously reduce the time spent on antenna selection.
