Recently,with the rapid development of wireless communication business and the dramatic rise in mobile terminals,it becomes much more urgent for users asking for the higher-speed and more stable data transmission system.In order to accommodate more users and provide higher quality of service,wireless communication business has put forward higher demands on the system throughput,user quality of service and other aspects.For the above reasons,MIMO and OFDM as the key technology of LTE came into being.At the same time,a large amount of algorithms have been developed to research on the resource allocation optimization in MIMO-OFDM systems,especially on throughput optimization.However,most of them focus on the joint allocation of resources,whose complexity is quite high,and does not take into account the QoS requirements and fairness between users,which can not be applied to the actual system.In addition,as an effective means to improve throughput,space division multiple access has not been well applied to the system throughput optimization.Therefore,via carefully researching on the resource allocation optimization in MIMO-OFDM wireless communication system,and focusing on the proportional fairness and system throughput,we propose a multi-user MIMO-OFDM throughput optimization method based on fairness and QoS requirements between users in this paper.In which the proportional fairness is combined with multi-user space multiple access technique in MIMO,and the system resources are allocated in three dimensions: time,frequency and space,which increases the flexibility of system resource allocation,optimizes the throughput of the system and guarantees the users' fairness and QoS requirements of data rates and delay.In order to reduce the complexity of the algorithm,the system throughput is optimized by two steps: subcarrier allocation and power allocation.Firstly,the user priority is choosed as the heuristic function to improve the greedy algorithm,which is applied to the subcarrier allocation.Then,the power allocation among the subcarriers of each user is realized by the linear water injection algorithm.In addition,traditional fairness index is improved so as to evaluate the fairness of various resource allocation optimization schemes roundly and effectively under the increasingly complicated communication business.Simulation results show that the resource optimization algorithm can improve the system throughput to a certain extent,and ensure and evaluate the system fairness effectively.
