The emergence and development of SSD has overcome the shortcomings of traditional hard disk on performance and reliability.With the development of electronic technology,information acquisition and processing capabilities of aerospace,automotive and other shipboard information systems have greatly improved,the performance and reliability of single SSD cannot meet the requirements of the information system.Thus how to build a high-performance,high-capacity storage system based on SSDs has attached a number of research interests.In this essay we studied optimization of the control logic of SSD storage array for embedded application based on the understanding of traditional array technology and RAID technology.The main work is as follows:(1)The overall architecture of SSD array control logic ifs first given.Then,the bus technology based interconnection of array control logic,the interface of storage array,and the data layout is established.Finally,the interface logic,RAID controller and SATA host controller is designed and implemented.(2)The design of the key modules of control logic of SSD array is Optimized.Specifically,the optimization focus on garbage collection policy and SATA host controller which affects system performance stability and system resources.(3)Our optimized control logic of SSD array is listed and verified.We build a test platform,analyzed the functional testing results,performance optimization test results,and resource consumption stability test results. |
