As a key technology of military night vision,infrared thermal imaging technology has been more and more widely used in the commercial and civil fields now.Especially,the appearance of uncooled infrared focal plane array detector based on micro bolometer has reduced the volume,power consumption and the price,and enhanced the reliability of infrared detector.In this paper,an infrared thermal imaging system is designed and implemented.The system is composed of head-mounted thermal imagers,web thermal imagers and a management platform.It is a full range of security and fire-fighting monitoring system.The head-mounted thermal imager uses a low-power microcontroller as a processor,and uses a highlight micro OLED display and optical system to achieve AR(augmented reality)result,which makes the image more natural.It is hand-free and easy to use.It accomplishes the complex function with a small hardware circuit,and realizes high speed analog display interface with resistance network DA.The functions of display,correction and interaction are also designed.The network thermal imager is based on the embedded processor platform,use the infrared detector and the visible light camera for joint monitoring.After compression,the video data will be transmitted to the management platform.It is mainly used as a fixed monitory point.The management platform is written in C# and runs in.NET environment.The management platform uses RTP(Real Time Transport Protocol)to receive the video data from the network thermal imagers,and display them in monitoring area.Besides video storage,playback and other basic functions,functions of the management platform include fusion of visible and infrared video,which improve the application scope,and an intrusion detection for automatic alarm in dangerous situation.A set of comprehensive infrared thermal imaging system for security and fire protection is designed,makes up for the shortcomings of the traditional monitoring system when the image is affect by lacking of light and shelter of tress,and it can effectively prevent the hidden trouble of early fire such as machine failure and line heating.It has a strong practical value.
