As is widely acknowledged as an infrastructure of cloud storage and cloud computing,datacenter is playing an increasingly important role in daily life of such an internet era.Researches on related design,deployment,optimization and so on are getting more and more attention in both academia and industries.It is significant to improve utilization of computing and networking resource.So far,load balance of computing resource relies on a certain algorithm in a specified load balancer,while load balance of network resource relies on multipath scheduling in some routing protocols of WAN.In order to make each service be assigned more efficiently with computation resources and datacenter networking resource and to make datacenter be more convenient to operate,we apply SDN to datacenter and we have the following contributions:(1)To extend the Least Connection Algorithm and both consider load on servers and load on links.(2)To simulate the algorithm without a specific scheduler.(3)To build up a cooperating scheduling model of entities.(4)To design a scheduling algorithm based on bat algorithm and implement a system using Java language and compare that with ECMP.The experiment results indicates that SDN-based datacenter could schedule requests with extended least connection algorithm flexibly without a specific load balancer to achieve a load balance of vertical traffic(user--server)and a heuristic algorithm is proved more effective than ECMP to achieve a load balance of horizontal traffic(server--server).We take measures from two perspective based on characters of the two directions and achieve a better utilization.
