Reconnaissance aircraft,missiles,drones in the implementation of long-range reconnaissance or combat missions requires fast and accurate positioning of remote target with airborne optoelectronic pod,and the positioning accuracy and the positioning speed directly determine the success of the task.It is of great practical significance to study the efficient target localization based on aircraft.Traditional target location method of the airborne optoelectronic pod uses position and attitude information between aircraft,pod,target and its positioning accuracy is affected by various installation errors and measurement errors.With the further research of image matching technology,it is significant to develop the theory and technology of image matching aided target location for the airborne avionics technology.In this paper,we focus on the research of quick large viewpoint image matching algorithm,study the key technology of fast and accurate positioning of the large viewpoint target and design a simulation verification platform.Firstly,the overall scheme of fast and accurate positioning system based on image matching is proposed,where the fast and accurate positioning of the target is achieved by matching the target image with the reference image under the large view.Then design the theoretical framework of this paper and the simulation platform for the validation of the theoretical part.In order to extract the target from the target image and lay the foundation for fast and accurate positioning,a fast target detection algorithm based on the target image sequence is proposed.The target can be quickly extracted from the target image sequence by fast image matching and the further optimization of matching result.In order to realize the accurate positioning of the target in the airborne reference image,a fast matching algorithm based on inertial information for the large view target image and airborne reference image is studied.By matching the large view target image with the airborne reference image,the pixel coordinate relation between the target image and the reference image is obtained and it lays the foundation for accurate positioning of the target.In order to realize the accurate positioning of the target in the airborne reference image,the target accurate location algorithm is studied based on the fast algorithm for target extraction and the large view image matching.By combining the results of the target extraction with the fast image matching results,the precise positioning of the target is obtained.Finally,the simulation verification platform for fast and accurate positioning system with large viewing angle is designed and realized,and the validity and feasibility of the proposed algorithms are verified by the experiments on the platform.
