With the development of science and technology, the distribution and transmission of multimedia information become easier and easier. However, the criminals can also easily obtain multimedia information through network. Therefore,it is important to protect the security of multimedia information.Reversible watermarking,as a branch of information hiding technology, plays an important role in defending data integrity.Prediction is very important in reversible watermarking, and this paper proposes two reversible watermarking algorithms based on non-causal prediction:1)A novel reversible audio watermarking algorithm based on non-causal prediction and histogram shifting is proposed.A prediction parameter is obtained according to the relation among each three consecutive samples, then an optimal prediction coefficient is obtained by averaging all these parameters in a clip. The prediction value of the current sample and the corresponding prediction error are computed.Since the prediction error is non-integer,we use an improved histogram shifting method to embed the additional data.We demonstrate the superiority of this scheme by testing on six standard audio files.Compared with three schemes, the proposed scheme has lower embedding distortion with the same payload.2)A novel reversible image watermarking algorithm based on two-dimensional non-causal prediction and histogram shifting is proposed. This scheme applies the non-causal prediction method to images. Before prediction,we compute the optimal prediction coefficients along horizontal and vertical axis. Then we can compute the predicted pixel and error by the two-dimensional non-causal prediction scheme. At last,we use an improved histogram shifting method to embed the additional data.Experimental results have shown that the performance of the proposed scheme is better than other reversible image watermarking schemes.
